Rhondda Apostolic Mission
The Rhondda Apostolic Church was opened in April 1965 by the late Sophie Evans, the fromer deputy of a local infants school.
Since 1965 the church has had eight ministers.

In 1995 the church celebreated 30 years of service at which time the church was renamed from Horeb to "Cymer Christain Centre". Pastor D.Miles once said that he sees the church as a centre within the community to serve the community.
In September 1999 the name of the church was once again changed to "Rhondda Aposotlic Mission"
Looking back over the history of the Apostolic church in the Rhondda, the late Pastor T.V.Lewis wrote that one of the most powerful assemblies affecting the Rhondda Valley was the Porth assmbly, where the late Pastor Tom Saunders was a great instrument used by God to lead many into the blessings promised in the Bible.
