Ministers Biography

I was born in 1968 in a small Mid-Wales town (Llanidloes) and grew up in a farming community. I became a Christian after hearing the Good News about Jesus Christ and as a young person I felt the need to respond. I attended the "South Wales Baptist College" Cardiff as I felt called to Christian ministry, in February 2004 I started as Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Chapel Tonyrefail. I am married to Elizabeth who has worked alongside me in past churches in the Vale of Glamorgan (Rhoose and East Aberthaw). We Have one daughter Anna Dwynwen.

From personal experience I would recommend Jesus Christ above all else

Sunshine Corner

A meeting aimed for children between the ages of 5 - 11 years old.   Bible stories are often inter-linked with a question and answer time, the meeting concludes with various craft activities and games.

Chasers

Children usually move on to Chasers from Sunshine Corner, the meeting is aimed at children 11 years old and upward, more attention is given toward Bible teaching and prayer. We also include games and Quizzes to conclude.

Sunday School

This is a traditional run Sunday School which is geared up to cover all ages, the emphasis being biblical stories and teaching

Young at Heart

This meeting is aimed more at the elderly in the church and the community, meetings vary from slide shows, craft teaching and bible based talks, also hymn singing.   The afternoon ends with tea and biscuits and a chat.  Occasionally day trips to various places of interest take place throughout the year.  Also transport is provided for those unable to make it to the church themselves.

Prayer Meeting & Bible Study

Normally begins with a short bible study or talk, followed by a time of worship and prayer

Sunday Services

Are 11am - 6pm they begin with worship and hymn singing which is followed by an evangelical based sermon.  The meeting normally lasts approx. hour

Alpha Course

The church runs two courses which lasts Approx. 10 weeks, one beginning in January and the other starts normally in October.  They are followed by a 16 weeks bible study course on Paul's letter to the Philippians.

Bible Study

There are plans to run Church based "Bible Study Courses"
